The House of the Bible, representative of the Biblical Society of Geneva in Italy, is a missionary organization whose vocation is to spread the Word of God.

Present in Italy in the two locations of Genoa (1933) and Turin (1992), the House of the Bible promotes the edition and distribution of the Holy Scriptures, and a wide range of literature in order to encourage and facilitate the reading of the Bible.

The House of the Bible collaborates with the Union for the Reading of the Bible for the circulation of the periodical For the Passing Hour, a quarterly publication of daily meditations which are intended to guide the believer in the regular reading and meditation of the Word of God.
